Ready for Installation

We have pre-wired the electronic assembly to make installation as simple as possible. You will need to connect the pickup wires, prepare a spot for the Battery LED, and install the controls into the Bass body

The Z-Mode module will be wired based on your selection:

• With or without an Active/Passive switch
• The EQ circuit based on No EQ, Passive High Frequency Roll Off, 3-4 Band Active EQ with a Mid Frequency switch, or 1-4 Band Active EQ.
• Your volume control selection
• Z-Mode 3 way switch
• Battery Level Indicator
• 9V or 18V battery.

After we have wired your assembly together, as specified, it is connected to a bass pickup and then driven by a magnetic field source. All of the controls are tested and a frequency scan is completed for all 3 of the Z-Modes.

You will find wiring instruction on the documents page should you want to change your configuration in the future. While you can not change the type of EQ you have selected, you can go from volume/balanced to volume/volume for example.
